Guidelines for Dialogue

When we participate in a structured dialogue or difficult conversation, establishing group guidelines is a critical first step. Guidelines provide participants with a framework that encourages open, respectful, and meaningful dialogue. In a dialogue setting, guidelines should be discussed, tailored to group needs, agreed upon by all participants, and posted in a way that is accessible to all participants.
